My name is Brandon Edwards, founder and owner of Frazzell Guitars in Danville, Kentucky. I’m a Boyle and Lincoln County native, Lincoln County High School graduate, certified luthier, Nashville Guitar Craft Academy graduate, former Gibson Custom Shop employee, and experienced touring guitar tech. At Frazzell Guitars, I combine real-world stage experience with handcrafted Kentucky craftsmanship to build, repair, and restore instruments that inspire musicians to play their best. Every guitar is treated with the mindset that it could hit the stage that very night. Play the Legend. Be the Legend.
Frazzell Guitars is more than just a company name — it’s a piece of my family history. The name comes from my grandmother, Mary Jean Frazzell Stinnett, and my great-grandfather, Albert Sylvester Frazzell. My grandmother passed away from cancer when my mother was only 20 years old, so I never had the opportunity to meet her myself. But growing up, I heard countless stories about the kind of person she was — the love she showed, the care she gave to others, and the way she treated people like family. When it came time to name this company, I struggled to find something that truly meant something to me. “Edwards Guitar Company” was already taken, and I wanted a name that stood for more than just business. I wanted something personal. Something lasting. Something built on family, love, and values. That’s why I chose the Frazzell name. This company was built to honor the people who came before me and the values they lived by. Frazzell Guitars is, and always will be, a family company. We believe the person buying a twenty-five cent guitar pick deserves the exact same respect and care as the person buying a $2,500 custom guitar. When you walk through our doors, you’re not just another customer — you’re family. We believe in treating people right, standing behind our work, and building relationships that last longer than any instrument ever could. Those values are the foundation of everything we do, and they always will be. Play the Legend. Be the Legend.
